Council meetings
- 10 October, 5 & 6 December.
- Future meetings scheduled for 6 February, 27 March, 15 May, 11 July.
- Law Society AGM on 5 July.
- I participated in a teleconference on the Society’s budget for 2013 on 23 November.
Wales committee
- 3 October, 12 December.
- Future meetings scheduled for 12 February, 13 March, 5 June.
- Silk Commission sub-committee meetings on 9 January, 23 January.
- I chair this committee.
RAB Education and Training committee
- 12 September (teleconference), 20 September.
- I missed the meeting on 1 November because I was on annual leave.
- Future meetings scheduled for 29 January, 12 March, 21 May, 23 July.
Other attendances and activities
- I attended the annual Law Society lecture at the National Eisteddfod in Llandow on 9 August.
- I was a member of the panels interviewing applicants for vacancies on the Wales committee on 20 August and 11 December.
- With Lowri Morgan I participated in a teleconference with Mark Stobbs, the Law Society’s director of policy, on 23 August.
- I held meetings with Lowri Morgan at Capital Tower on 23 August, 18 September, 26 September and 22 November.
- I attended a meeting of the Law Society’s Legal Affairs and Policy Board (LAPB) at Chancery Lane on 27 September.
- I attended the LAPB Committee Chairs’ meeting on 14 November.
- I attended the Counsel General’s public lecture Wales a Jurisdiction? at Cardiff Law School on 15 November.
- I attended the COLP Forum run by the Law Society jointly with Riliance on 28 November.
- I wrote an article for the December issue of Legal News.
