CDLS is delighted to welcome Zeal as one of our latest annual Partners. Zeal is a new generation of tax advisors, known for working effectively and collaboratively with the legal sector in Wales and beyond.
Zeal is an exclusive Partner with CDLS for 2021/22, and will join our long-time Recruitment Partner Yolk Recruitment and marketing consultancy Partner, Emma Waddingham Consulting.
We asked Matt Jeffery, Managing Director of Zeal (pictured below) to introduce CDLS members to our latest partner, what they offer and how the business aims to work with us to add value to our membership over the coming year.
I’d like to introduce you to Zeal. We are not your conventional tax advisors.
Our aim is to find better ways for businesses to benefit from tax incentives and efficient structures.
All the work we do has a measurable benefit. It’s easy for clients to see the value in working with us when we’re saving them thousands of pounds in tax.
We do this by offering a range of specialist tax services which are generally outside the remit and skillset of accountants. These include capital allowances for business property and R&D tax credits.
We also advise on personal and business tax matters to make sure that your client’s businesses are taking advantage of all of the incentives available to them.
Our senior tax team are all Charter Tax Advisors each with over a decade of experience in their particular fields - so you know, that any advice we give is accurate and relevant. Our R&D director has also sat on HMRC’s Consultative Committee since 2015.
When making a claim for tax relief, we work on a success fee basis. We carry out all the work without any upfront or fixed fees. Our fees are paid out of the payment’s clients receive from HMRC.
Forming relationships with local solicitors is key to making sure more businesses are benefiting from tax opportunities right when they need them the most. Our head office is based in Newport and that’s why we’re looking to work with Welsh firms that service the business community in Wales and beyond.
It’s a great feeling when you can send a client a large tax rebate that they were not expecting or legitimately help them pay the right amount of tax, but we know that tax is complicated, so we focus on keeping things simple for clients using our straightforward approach - without jargon. As I always tell my clients, good tax relief pays for itself.
If you would like to find out more about how Zeal can help you and your clients save money on property and innovation investments, you can find some useful links below, and our contact details. We look forward to seeing you at one of our online events with CDLS very soon.
