Cardiff & District Law Society and the Wales & Chester Circuit are launching the first event in the Food & Faith series — part of the DEI Events Programme supporting inclusion and understanding across the South Wales legal community. Join us for an informal evening celebrating Ramadan through conversation, shared food and networking.
Who is speaking / What to expect
This relaxed, welcoming session will be led by Jenine Abdo, Co-DEI Lead and Past President of Cardiff & District Law Society.
The evening will include:
- An informal introduction to Ramadan and Eid and their significance
- Insights into faith, culture and celebration
- Opportunities to network with colleagues across the legal sector
- A brief outline on upcoming DEI initiatives from CDLS and the Wales & Chester Circuit
- Food and refreshments inspired by the theme
This event is open to all and aims to foster understanding, conversation and connection.
What attendees should note
- The event will begin at 5:30pm and the breaking of the fast will be at 6:22pm
- Please advise any dietary requirements when booking (all food is vegetarian).
- The event is free to attend but advance booking is required.
