CDLS Annual Dinner 2023

The President of Cardiff and District Law Society invites you to join us for our 2023 Annual Dinner – an unmissable opportunity to catch up with peers, colleagues, friends & clients, and to celebrate our annual award winners.

The Cardiff & District Law Society Annual Dinner will be hosted at the historic Coal Exchange Hotel in Cardiff Bay.

We are delighted to offer a fantastic evening of socialising, a three-course gourmet dinner, with a special guest speaker and the announcement of our annual award winners, followed by dancing and networking at the fully-stocked bar. Everyone is welcome to join us.

CDLS members and JLD members can also benefit from a booking discount.

Our President, Jenine Abdo, invites our members, those working in and with legal brands in and around Cardiff, affiliated industries and law students to join us on Friday 10th November 2023 for a night filled with entertainment and celebration of our successful, sustainable, innovative and internationally regarded law Society members and legal community.

We are delighted to announce our inspirational speaker for the evening, Olympic Medal Winner Inspirational and Motivational Speaker, Jamie Baulch.

Awards

The CDLS annual awards are open for entry. The winners will be announced at our annual dinner. This year’s categories are open to members and non-members in law firms, barristers chambers, in house practices and law students (as applies per category). The categories are:

• Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Champion of the Year
• Best Access to Justice (Pro Bono) Initiative of the Year
• Rising Star of the Year

Judges: The awards will be judged by way of a vote by the Cardiff & District Law Society presidential team, led by Jenine Abdo, and our honorary secretaries.

Deadline for entries: 20th October 2023, by midnight.

• 6:30pm: Start the night off at our sparkly drinks reception
• 6:45pm: Call to Dinner

Payment

You can pay via Eventbrite when ordering or choose to pay offline. Please include details of the organisation you wish us to invoice, where to send the invoice and how you wish to pay (BACs or Cheque). Your ticket(s) cannot be confirmed until payment has been made.

Wine Pre-Orders

A wine pre-order form will be sent to you / your table’s lead contact once we have received payment for your booking.

Dietary Requirements
